Families are messy. Your recent experience sheltering in place may have heightened this reality. Peter was aware of this fact when he wrote his letter to the believers scattered all over the Roman Empire. They were learning and growing as followers of Jesus trying to shed their old habits and sometimes this caused problems. This week Peter uses the example of a mother and child to show us how to live.
