One

of the better achievements of radio drama was its horror and suspense programs. This

weekâs radio play is from one of the best known of the horror radio genre â

Lights Out. The

episode I am going to present is called âMr. Maggsâ from 1942.

Though

heavy on the melodrama, the play does have strong horrific elements. It was written by Lights Out director and chief writer, Arch Oboler (right).
