In which Huck and Jim cleverly conceal their raft amidst the cottonwoods and journey silently down the Mississippi, living off the river and narrowly avoiding detection while marvelling at the great cities they pass by night. They then stumble upon a stranded steamboat in a thunderstorm and uncover a dark and dangerous secret among its occupants, setting their wits to finding a way to escape the peril.
