As we go through things we allow guilt, shame and disobedience to make us feel like when adversity strikes, God is giving us a spanking. It is the complete opposite. God wants to grow and mature you so that the devil cant use certain tactics and strategies to bring you down. Look at difficulties as a time to do something different. Using more God given and self-controlled tactics you will be able to stop the enemy before he gets a change to use you.
