The opposite of “adversity” is “easy.” Adversity is God’s university - the hardships and trials of life apply to all people and it’s God’s way of shaping us into who He wants us to be. And we all ask the same question, “Why is this happening to me?”

Adversity is more precious than gold which perishes. Our nature is to seek the easy path, though. Any time God is preparing to do something in our lives, He is going to require an act of faith on our part.
