Advice for Personal Assistant Employers on COVID-19
During this very difficult period the ALLIANCE is going to produce a number of podcasts for people living with long term condition, disabled people, and unpaid carers. These will cover advice, support, and comment on COVID-19.
In this episode we’ll hear from Colin Millar, of the Scottish Personal Assistants Employers Network (SPAEN). SPAEN was set up in 1999 to help people to take active control over their care and support packages. Colin will give us some advice on what action you should take about COVID-19 if you employ personal assistants.
The development of coronavirus COVID-19 means that this is a very difficult and worrying time for people living with long term condition, disabled people, and unpaid carers, with many self-isolating, and the support that they use on a regular basis under pressure.
