Advice for twenty something employee's and their managers

Listen Later

Gone are the days of cohorts of new employees into corporations, all being onboarded and mentored together at the beginning of their careers. Many college graduates are entering the corporate world without this mentorship, as many companies have gone away with this structure. Some may call it the Wild Wild West, and others the survival of the fittest. I, too, didn’t have this onboarding experience and in today’s episode, I share how I started and how to not follow my lead so you can start with success. And if you are in a managerial position, I also share with you how you can support and be a role model for new employees who are starting their careers.

In today’s episode, we cover:

  • My start in the corporate world at 20
  • How to build credibility when starting your career
  • How to become a better communicator for sales and life skills
  • The responsibilities of managers to enable the success of young employees
  • Resources for employees and managers
