When you have to deal with a narcissist, the best you can do is set boundaries to protect yourself. If you are not sure if you are dealing with a narcissist, ask yourself if they have a group of friends, do they have a support system? If not that is a red flag.

Why do people care what others think of them. This is the biggest thing holding people back on doing anything. Where do you stand? Do you want your kids to be cool? Do you try to be cool?

I heard Mel Robbins on a podcast discussing this topic. I loved being raised by parents that let us figure out what we wanted to become. We were never pressured to become what our parents wanted us to become. Where do you stand on this topic.

How much is too much? How can too much be at the detriment to your kids? How can you balance giving your kids a great life with learning the value of a dollar. A major key is instilling empathy in your children.

When i became a mom, I always worried if i was doing it right. I worried if my mom thought I was doing things correctly. I wanted to discuss this with my own mom since my kids are older. I got out of my own head I figured my own mom went through it when she was young. So what is the secret to parenting? News flash there isn’t one. Parenting is learning as you go. What works for one person doesn’t work for the other. Give yourself grace. Realize no one has it figured out. Stop worrying about judgement. Find your own happiness and your kids will learn how to find their happiness.

We love reality tv. We find human behavior fascinating. We go into the things we take away from watching these shows. It is our guilty pleasure.
