She and her family live in far northern California, nestled between redwoods and the Pacific coastline. She is the creator and host of the podcast Walking with Freya, a journey through special needs parenting, and author of "There Is Joy To Be Found Here; a writing journal for parents of children with special needs". Recently, she launched BREATHE - Bringing Resources, Education, & Advocacy To Homes Everywhere, an online space for the disability community.
