The AFC North had three teams in the NFL playoffs, last year. The Pittsburgh Steelers edged out the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens, with 11 wins. The Steelers did their damage on offense. Ben Roethlisberger statistically had one of his best seasons, and LeVeon Bell emerged as an all around running back. Antonio Brown gives Big Ben a dependable target. How will their defense hold up?
Cincinnati made the playoffs for the fourth straight year. However, another first round loss has the Andy Dalton critics talking. What will the Bengals do this year, to win a playoff game? Can the Bengals even make the playoffs? The offense may have to carry this team, into the playoffs.
Baltimore has a different make up than the Steelers and Bengals. They could have one of the best linebacker units in the league, but their secondary has some question marks. They also lost Haloti Ngata via trade, with the Detroit Lions. They found a good running back in Justin Forsett, who had a career year with over 1,200 yards. The debate continues on Joe Flacco, but he continues to win. The Ravens drafted Breshad Perriman, to add another weapon opposite of Steve Smith.
The Cleveland Browns continue to try and figure out how to compete, in the AFC North. The one thing that they don't have, a franchise quarterback. Quarterback play will determine how the Browns season goes.
