We single out our flaws in hindsight. 

And often

we tend to forget 

or downplay how we were feeling 

when we took a particular decision 

or acted a certain way in the past. 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Give your feelings some space today. 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Take this moment to sit with your past self. 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Sit with who you were yesterday, 

or a month ago, 

or a year, perhaps. 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Breathing at a pace comfortable to you, 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

release any sense of regret. 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Release the need to categorize your past actions. 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Simply allow what comes 

to come. 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Hold this image of yourself 

with tenderness. 

PAUSE (10 secs)…

Slowly 

bring down the walls, 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

and open yourself up to process the pain, 

so that you may then heal from it.

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Healing begins 

when you bring yourself 

love 

and understanding. 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Healing begins 

when you allow your feelings to be heard, 

to be seen. 

PAUSE (5 secs)…

Go in gently today. 

Let waves of compassion wash away the fog 

of regret 

or guilt.

So that you may see yourself clearly, 

and you may heal yourself fully.
