Who doesn't have heard of Giraffe Manor? The most famous and iconic safari house in Kenya where giraffes poke their heads through the windows each day and leave guests in awe.

It is just one of kind in a portfolio of small luxury safari camps of the safari Collection. In this episode you will meet the founders and owners Tanya and Mikey Carr Hartley who followed their dream and created one of the most bespoke safari collections in East Africa.

Both being Kenyan born they were raised in the bush and have an extensive knowledge about the Kenyan nature, wildlife and cultural heritage. 

Starting their luxury mobile safaris in 2000 they became aware of the opportunity to protect wild spaces. Building close relationships with the local communities they started to create their dream of building the Safari Collection in unique locations in Nairobi, Masai Mara, Laikipia and Samburu.
