On January 20, Pastor Katy preaches on Numbers 13:30-33.
Fear is not a bad thing. Throughout human history and in each of our daily lives, fear is what keeps us from many things that would harm us. Fear makes us save for retirement and look both ways before crossing a busy street. Fear has a definite role to play for each of us, but sometimes fear takes over and we find ourselves constantly stressed, worried, and paralyzed by what could be. Join us this Sunday as we begin a new sermon series called “Unafraid,” where we’ll begin to explore the roles of fear and courage in our lives and in our faith. The single most common command throughout the entire Bible is “do not be afraid.” How are you doing with that command?
