Hello everyone, happy new year
Welcome to Afri – tunes week 96, my name is @kubby56 and this is my first entry in Afri – tunes community.
As an African and a lover of African music, I have been following up on the activities of this community and I’m glad to be here.
While I was thinking on what to use as my first entry post , a song by Progress Effiong titled KAMA came into my mind.
Kama is an ibibio language, a tribe in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria
This song is simple but spirit filled, Kama means HOLD UNTO. If you know Jesus Christ then unto him, if you have seen his mercy and grace and unfailing love why not hold unto Him. He is the same yesterday, today and will ever remain the same forever. God is to and my family that’s why sitting back and reminiscing about my life, I just know that it can only be God and Kama is a song I am singing to praise him for his goodness in my life.
