AfriBlocks is a Zimbabwean startup that was co-founded by Tongayi Choto and Roger Roman. The company is a freelance and networking platform that is looking to address the new tomorrow of remote and freelance work. AfriBlocks was selected to participate in Terchstars' Seattle Cohort which makes it the first Zimbabwean startup to be selected and one of a handful in Africa.
Techstars has a stellar record. They have raised over US$11 billion in funding for over 2000 startups, 85% of which are either active or acquired.
