This week on the Africa Update Bibi chatted with Denzel Mwiyeretsi popularly known as DJ Denzel UG.

DJ Denzel UG is a DJ, TV personality, Radio DJ and he was giving Bibi insight into the Nyege Nyege Festival. The festival is one of the biggest in East Africa, adored for it's promotion of Ugandan and African culture and music. However, despite its promotion of culture the Ugandan government has constantly threatened to shut it down, claiming it's an immoral event.

Bibi chats with DJ Denzel UG about how the festival started, how festival goers reacted to the government threats, and what other African countries can learn from this incredible festival.
