This week on the Africa Update Bibi spoke about Kenya's traditional cuisine getting UNESCO recognition.
For the last 20 years, researchers, farmers, communities and school have been working on promoting Kenyan foods as well their nutritional value; this after realising that there was less and less Kenyan foods on menus. All their efforts have resulted in Kenyan cuisine being selected for listing in the Register of Good Safeguarding Practices.
