On this episode I talk with the Cast & Crew of the upcoming movie African America. We talk about the characters, how they relate to their situations, why they choose the choices they did. We also discuss what it was like to film this movie, the relation between Americans and Africans, and having it based in the Trump era of America. 

Story Line African America follows a woman, Nonpumelelo, from South Africa who is living out her dreams and the obstacles she encounters on the way. Upon discovering her acceptance into Julliard, Nompumelelo, a cynical South African, embezzles funds from her workplace and abandons her fiancé to live out her Broadway dream in New York City only to discover that 2017 U.S.A. is not as welcoming as she had dreamed. There she learns about true love, true happiness, and true citizenship. Nompumelelo soon realizes that all that glitters isn’t gold and the American dream that she seeks may not apply to African-Americans or Africans in America.
