Chao Tayiana Maina and Anna Adima discuss Chao’s work as a public historian in Kenya. Chao talks about her organisations African Digital Heritage and Open Restitution Africa, as well as her project Save the Railway, and her work with the Museum of British Colonialism. Their conversation also touches on the importance of collaboration in ‘doing’ public history, and what it means to work in the field as a Black woman.
