Afriforum launched a new neighbourhood watch to address criminality within communities last month. In Musina, it is addressing community safety and has been working alongside SAPS on patrol operations. However, this work has also drawn the attention of government officials after a video surfaced on social media claiming that Afriforum had taken over border management. SANDF released a statement that it was illegal for civil organizations to patrol on the border. To help us unpack the misconceptions of their work,
