At a point in my life, I've also experienced toxic relationships though I was not beaten by my boyfriend. There's more to toxic relationships than just being beaten. I was tortured mentally and emotionally that I just wanted to quit and stay away from relationships for a long time.
I picked this song because it express how I felt then. I just wanted to make money and forget about relationship.
