This Sunday was All Saints Day, and 260 years ago on All Saints Day one of the worst earthquakes in history struck (and destroyed) Lisbon, Portugal. That earthquake forever altered the trajectory of science, religion, philosophy, and sociology. It also provides some fascinating parallels to many of our own Spiritual Journeys, especially those that include a deconstructed faith.
