We want a miracle, right? When we pray, we are asking God to perform a sign or wonder. Jesus wants us to believe in Him for who is he, not just for what He does. In John 4, the official is begging Jesus to heal his son. Jesus told him to just go home. Have you ever been there? All the official has is some hope and a command to go.
