Almost two years into the pandemic and many working mothers are maxed out - on work, life, and trying to balance it all while prioritizing their families. Some companies have risen to the challenge of supporting them, while others have not. This is a call to action. Our families, and the world, needs working moms in the picture.

Tobi Baker-Daigle and Christine McMacken are aesthetic powerhouses who took their combined talents and artistry and created a client-centered destination in the New England Skin Center. Tired of applying their efforts to the benefit of other businesses, they made their mark and created their own destiny by taking the risk of going on their own. Over the past two years, they’ve learned a lot and had a lot of success, pivoted as COVID broke loose to continue to support their clients and provide a sense of normalcy and hope while the world navigates a pandemic. Meet Lesley- she gave birth singing to Beyonce. Full on, belting out Beyonce at the hospital such that others down the hall came to know her. Beyond that claim to fame, she’s the kind of woman we all could be so fortunate to call our friend (and I’m grateful to claim that status!). She’s crushing her career in public service by way of community outreach and communications after starting out in college with aspirations of being...a dentist. What a change in course! We get ultra-detailed about the things our friends don’t tell us about childbirth and the early days of mothering (you’re welcome), what efforts she’s putting forth to practice self-care and how we can all give back to our communities by volunteering. Meet Sue- a public relations business owner, wife and mother of two toddlers, balancing this crazy beautiful life.
