SORRY ABOUT THE DROPS OVER THE FIRST 30 MINUTES! They are partially drowned out until Steve mentions it. After that the drops are superb as always. Mike graduated from his masters program finally and Steve wants him to know there are night classes available at The Citadel. Turns out Mike interviewed former Georgetown basketball coach Craig Esherick there back in 2004. We have plenty of emails today! Joe just wanted to say hello while Eric emailed in a new audio addition for the show. That reminds Steve & Govier of Cabbage Ass from their old time Charleston days. The Clash of the Titans is also involved. Our pal Dave the pilot sends in a well thought out email revealing the inside story on what happens when your flight is delayed. What Dave has to say will blow your mind! Dave's email reminds us about how long it has been since there was a serious commercial jet disaster in the United States. It's never been safer to fly than right now. There was a place in the fella's hometown of Hartland called The Oasis. It was a truck stop where you could ask for mayo on the side if you know what I mean. Mike lived with a family he didn't know at all who housed him while he sold books door to door in Texas back in 2001. Luke has a lot of admiration for Michelle Yeoh's Oscar speech. Luke also realized how hard it is to do our show when Govier isn't there to place those drops to break up the monotony of Luke's rants. Sid sent in a great email filled with thought-provoking questions for all of us to partake in such as how do you talk to someone who is completely obtuse when it comes to climate change? Over the weekend Mike hung out with his pal Cory & they were saying that they have accepted that creating meaningful, tangible change in the Unites States is a lost cause and we should all try to enjoy the time we have on this planet with an eye toward donating to causes when you can while still expecting little to change. Ron Perlman got pissed recently and made some hardcore comments related to the current strike in Hollywood. It turns out Luke is not a fan of David Mamet's writing in his films. The last part of the show focuses on the memories of our friends who perished too soon back in 2001 & 2003 in separate car accidents. We miss our friends Brandon & Ryan to this day. The guys have a lot of vivid memories from that time that they share freely with all of us. We love you all! We are very pleased with our little world that we have formed together thanks to this show. This talk show has little substance to it without you listening and emailing. We close the show with Late by Face To Face. If any of our nonsense provokes your thoughts, please share them with us at [email protected]
