I don’t think any place I could ever have taught meditation or Qigong could’ve helped me learn how to go with the flow more than working in juvenile justice. You never know what to expect. You never know what the mood is. You always have to be on your toes prepared to throw out the lesson plan and, well, go with the flow. Make it up as you go along. Use all your knowledge and learning and sometimes fly by the seat of your pants with it. There’s nothing wrong with that. Right now, it’s really important that everyone has the same attitude. We’ve got to go with the flow.
