I start with my mother, Dona Edna Garcia. I talk with my mom about what it was like after Maria hit but mostly about how the politics of the island could change. I also remember an earlier conversation I had with disaster historian Dr. Jacob Remes. My mom confirmed a lot of Dr. Remes talked about. Things may not look great, but there's hope.
