The Henna Housewife Killer continues to evade the police for the murders of red-haired housewives.
Dr. Molly Jordan treats Detective Danny Sullivan when he's rushed into her ER with a critical bullet wound. Molly has never experienced a pure carnal reaction to a patient before, but Danny sparks such heat in her that nights he comes to her in fervidly steamy dreams.
A cop's widow and single parent, Molly is fiercely averse to the life of worry that loving a police officer entails. And Danny isn't any cop. He's the son of a retired police commissioner and one of six siblings who are all law enforcers.
After a bitter divorce, Danny is convinced that a cop's job and married life doesn't mix - until he meets the bossy, irresistible Molly Jordan who throws medical orders at him that he has no intentions of following.

Page turner
You are introduced to the Sullivan family and by the end of the series you will feel just as much part of the Sullivan family as the characters! Great start and tone setter for the series. This book is the story of Danny Sullivan.

This was a good story and a very comfortable read. It would be perfect for the beach! Make sure to read the books in order to prevent spoiler content!
Great suspense and romance!
This is a real page turner. I had a hard time putting it down!
This book also has a Holiday and family feel, great reading for a cold winter night by the fireplace.
I can't wait for the next in the Sullivan Boys series!
Worth a Second and Third Read!

Though marketed as romantic suspense, this is largely just a contemporary romance, with a crime that needs solving, but that doesn't drive the plot. Don't worry - you won't feel like you're missing anything, because the romance is strong enough to carry the entire book.
This was my first book by K. M. Daughters and I'm truly glad I picked it up. This author team is overflowing with writing skills and I was glued to the pages of this book. The characters are realistic, flawed and charismatic. I especially loved police officer Danny Sullivan with his smart mouth and loving heart. The way he treated the children in this book truly won me over. Because he was off duty for much of this novel, we didn't really see much of the police's search for the HH Killer, but it was touched upon frequently enough that I was certain (between that and a bit of foreshadowing about one character's hair color) it would eventually be a very important plot point.
What hooked me and held me, though, was the romance. Both Danny and Molly have past problems that affect their abilities to trust someone else with their hearts. Danny was more open, I think, and suspect this was largely due to his huge, loving (and fun!) family. With that much love around, a person's heart can't close up too tightly. Molly didn't have that advantage, though her relationship with her deceased husband was a strong one so clearly showed her that a good relationship was possible.
The two young girls in this story were icing on the cake. Truly, it was the secondary cast that made this book truly great and I can't wait to start reading the second book in the series. The very pregnant Kay, only daughter in a pig pile of Sullivan brothers. Mrs.
