My guest this week is Andrew “Bunnie” Huang. He is one of the most celebrated hardware hackers, from his 2003 book, ‘Hacking the Xbox: An Introduction to Reverse Engineering”, to building the open source computer Novena, to suing the US Government with the EFF for Section 1201 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Bunnie co-wrote a paper with Edward Snowden, "Against the Law: Countering Lawful Abuses of Digital Surveillance". We talk about working with Snowden, building the Introspection Engine, coming across an easier solution: The Silent Phone, and where they are at with the project now.
