For the main topic, we turn to the gubernatorial race in our home state of Virginia, the only competitive race in 2021. In the spirit of a certain preeminent conservative publication, we must give our reasons for being against a wealthy businessman who has never held public office running as the Republican nominee for an executive office. Glen Youngkin is not deserving of right-wing support. He is a philosophically unmoored political opportunist who would trash the broad nationalist ideological consensus within the GOP in favor of a free-floating conservatism with inside-the-beltway overtones.
