Join us on this episode of the SoulMinded Business Podcast as we talk to Jeffrey Wall, the founder of Golden Age Karate.
Jeff is a Black Belt, and he is 15 years old. He comes from a family of social entrepreneurs. His organization travels to provide compassion and companionship for seniors in assisted living facilities.
His work with seniors in care facilities centers around the practice of Tang Soo Do, a Korean martial art. Throughout the pandemic, Jeff has been unable to do in-person classes due to COVID-19 facility restrictions. However, he didn’t let that stop him, and he started a YouTube channel to stay connected and keep the seniors active.
Jeffrey has studied martial arts since the age of six and was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame at the age of 15. A nationally-ranked fighter and grappling champion, Jeff earned his black belt at the age of 13. At the age of 14, he decided to start a nonprofit organization that travels to nursing homes to teach martial arts to seniors providing them with companionship, care, and exercise.
He now offers private virtual martial arts classes to seniors and kids who are no longer getting to have exercise classes. Jeffrey has been featured on CNN, Now This, Access Hollywood as well as on the Tamron Hall Show and as a feature in O Magazine.
