Dr. Jagriti Gangopadhyay is an assistant professor and the faculty coordinator at the Centre for Women’s Studies, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). She holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar, and has had her research published in journals including the Adoption Quarterly, Taylor and Francis, Journal of Cross-Cultural Gerontology, Springer, Sage, and Ageing International and Indian Journal of Medical Ethics, among others. Her research interests include social gerontology, family sociology and medical sociology.
