I am so excited to introduce our guest for todays episode. Her name is Erin Schwant. She has a masters degree in marriage and family therapy and worked in private practice in Jackson Mississippi before moving home to Mobile, which is where she grew up. In 2012 she was hired to develop a preschool at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. That school, St. Paul’s Early Education Center, is now 10 years old and serves 140 families a year. Erin and her husband husband, Troy, have five boys Jack, 15, Charlie 12, Sam 11, Robert 7, and William 5. Erin and I chat about how screen time is effecting the development of our young children. If you have kids ages 1-5...you do NOT want to miss this. You will be surprised, and maybe a bit shocked to hear how screen time can affect your child's developing brain.
