Beethoven is one of the most influential composers to come out of the 18th century. In the lead-up to the Australian Haydn Ensemble’s June 2024 concert tour, Artistic Director Skye McIntosh takes a look at unknown early 19th-century chamber arrangements of two of his Fifth Symphony, his relationship with Ferdinand Ries and one of Boccherini’s most famous works -The Night Streets of Madrid.
