Ahmed Divela

Earlier this year, Ahmed Divela, an investigative journalist in the West African country of Ghana, was gunned down in the street. Divela had recently exposed corruption by officials within Ghana’s soccer association, a scandal that implicated a powerful politician who had threatened vengeance.
