Dustin Tatroe and Ghazali chat with Chelsea Marone, former teacher and principal, now working with Kaiba, an AI-powered edtech tool. They explore how AI can help educators by reducing burnout, streamlining tasks, and improving instruction without replacing teachers. Chelsea highlights Kaiba’s features, ethical AI use, and the future of AI in education.
Chelsea Marone loves all things education! As a former teacher and principal, she has spent almost a decade in elementary schools in both rural and urban school districts. During this time, she taught special education in the most restrictive to the least restrictive environments, fell in love with education, became obsessed with classroom management, was always looking to make learning fun and had the privilege of meeting so many incredible adults and students along the way. Teaching is truly one of the most challenging and most rewarding jobs. When her school closed, she took this as a sign to step away from the classroom, but is still not far from it! After teaching, she joined a company called iCAMP, bringing STEAM education to after school programs and camps. Today, she also works at an Edtech startup called Kaiba, an AI powered tool to support teachers tackle their never ending to-do lists, reduce burnout and allow them to focus on what matters most- teaching their students! She absolutely love meeting fellow educators!
