We’re back for another episode of Real AI. Now.! In this one, Marc Giombetti (Product Manager at Two Impulse) will bring to us the topic of simulation and supply chain management. And with it comes our special guest Yashar Ahmadov.

Yashar is an industrial engineer with over 8 years of experience in supply chain management, a field where he also has a Masters, from MIT. He specializes in areas like network design, facility location, resource planning, simulation, inventory optimization or scheduling. But it does not stop there, besides simulation, Yashar is also an expert in data science, math and statistics. Apart from the main work, he also does some teaching and enjoys sharing knowledge with others.

The talk starts by explaining what exactly is simulation and why it is important to supply chain management. From then on, it only gets deeper into the subject, exploring the role of AI in it,as well as real applications and examples. Yashar also gives some valuable advice and draws the attention to common pitfalls to whoever is looking to get into the usage of simulation.
