Ai-jen Poo has spent more than two decades standing up for domestic workers’ rights. Her relentlessness has earned her a MacArthur Genius Grant, and she's made Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World list. Ai-jen is executive director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, or the NDWA, which helps protect our country’s millions of housekeepers, nannies and other caregivers, many of whom are women. And she’s co-director of Caring Across Generations, which she co-founded to help elders get affordable care and to help caregivers get quality jobs. On top of all that, Ai-jen wrote The Age of Dignity: Preparing for the Elder Boom in a Changing America. We bow down to the queen.
