Google Labs has launched GenChess, an AI-powered platform that allows users to customize chess pieces using text prompts and play against AI opponents with varying difficulty levels. In collaboration with FIDE, Google also introduced AI chess initiatives, including a coding challenge on Kaggle, aiming to advance AI chess engine development and enhance the traditional game with innovative technologies.
