Andy and Dave discuss “Tacotron 2,” the latest text-to-speech capability from Google that produces results nearly indistinguishable from human speech. They also discuss efforts at Google to create a Neural Image Assessment (NIMA), that not only can evaluate the quality of an image, but can also be trained to rate the aesthetics (as defined by the user) of an image.
