In this episode of the weekly Artificial Intelligence After Work (AIAW Podcast), we had the pleasure to welcome Göran Kördel, CIO of the Boliden Group, and former CIO of Sandvik and Director, Group IT at Ericsson IT Management. In the episode we  learned more about outsourcing of IT capabilities, the difference between Information Technology and Operational Technology, how they are connected to each other, the future of mining and the important role analytics, data, 5G and connectivity have in that future. Lastly we discussed cyber security and the vital function it has in the mining industry and the new algorithmic decade in general.
