AIE WOW: Cross-realm raid LFG

Here’s something I just found out, and even though I bet every other World of Warcraft’er already knew it, I thought I’d share, just in case. If you open the Raid window, there is an “Other Raids” tab at the top that will let you LFG for for cross-realm raids. This seems like a very helpful feature for finding a raid during low-population times, including for those pesky Timeless Isle Celestials that I never seem to catch anyone killing.

 

AIE EVE: The most expensive battle ever waged

What started out as a missed payment has led to the largest battle to ever take place in EVE Online. Hoots describes it as “a struggle between multiple coalitions that has involved nearly every nullsec entity in one form or another”. The end result has been the destruction of over $300,000 equivalent dollars worth of ships. Hoots posted a video in the AIE EVE forums showing some of the destruction.

AIE FF: House collection reaches 6 million gil

Big kudos to the AIE Final Fantasy gang; They just passed 6 million gil collected towards purchasing their guild house. You can help earn earn gil just by  jumping into a treasure hunting group with a level 45+ character. You don’t have to be any good, you just have to be there. And speaking of other games, there is a thread in the Imperium Ludi forums concerning Elder Scrolls Online that contains information on a number of discounts towards pre-orders of the new Skyrim MMO. For example, there is a code for 20% off from Green Man, and a link for 25% off from Gamefly. If you’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger on a purchase of the game, check the thread and get a good deal.

 

AIE Nomads: Rift reminder

We mentioned it last week, but just to remind everyone, if you’ve been thinking about jumping into Rift, the AIE Nomads, that group of game wanderers, are roaming their way into Rift starting on Saturday and lasting all month.
