AIE Generale: Nerdtacular

We know Scott is going to dish out some tasty details on this in a minute, but we had to mention that the big news of the week is the official announcement of Nerdtacular 2014 opening up ticket sales. Nerdtacular will be held on July 4th weekend at the beautiful Snowbird resort in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tickets are only $50, and that gets you two full days of amazing Frogpants fun, including three, yes three, tracks packed with star-studded panels, games, and shows. If you want to know more, stay tuned!

 

AIE Nomads: Moving On

Just a reminder, the AIE Nomads are moving on from Rift and over to a galaxy far far away in a mere matter of days! Lotwook and Pellel have been busy populating the calendar with great AIE SWTOR events for the Nomads to take part in! Remember to download your game early so you can jump right on in on the fun on day one!!

 

AIE General: Put your mark on the map

It’s easy sometimes to overlook those sticky posts at the top of the forums, or to dive right into your own favorite game’s forums and forget to check out the Community section, but if you’re not aware, we wanted to remind you that our other guest tonight, that rascally Ralff, created a Zeemap for all of our AIE members to show where in the world they happen to be, and see who might happen to live near them, which would be a big help when thinking about planning meetups. So if you haven’t done so already, or haven’t checked it out in a while, head to the Put Your Mark On The Map post in the Community section of the forums and see what’s changed.

 

AIE GENERAL: Imperium Ludi Reminder

We know there are a ton of games out there that many of our members are very interested in playing that are either not in the AIE official list, or that are coming up in beta. If you want to jump in and get all conversational-like about your favorite new game, and maybe help AIE decide if it’s right for our community to set up an expedition into, check out the Imperium Ludi section of the forums.

 

AIE General: Removal Reminder - No hard feelings!

Just a reminder, we love you, and you will always be a part of AIE, but we do clear out the rosters occasionally. To make room for new members to our happy family, we purge inactive characters from our ranks. The rate at which this is done varies by game, so we just want you to be aware! And don’t worry if you found yourself on the wrong side of an inactivity kick, it is quick and easy to get back in, just hop into  your game’s local AIELFO channel and ask for a re-invite.

AIE STO: More inventory slots coming soon!

What’s an enterprising young starship captain to do when your pockets are full of loot and you keep losing all of your red-shirted cargo carrying companions? Well don’t worry, the fine folks at Perfect World have announced the are increasing everyone’s storage slots. Both character inventory and bank storage will be increased in the next patch this week.
