In this first episode of the pod within a pod "Ain't Nothing Like A Howard Girl" Ms. Reid speaks with Howard University Alumna LeeAndria Williams, a Journalism Graduate of the class of 2012.

This conversation took place in the fall of 2022, right before both women's 10 year graduation anniversary. LeeAndria, shares advice she'd give the Howard Girl she once was, how her current life differs from where her college aged self thought she'd be, as well as recommendations for improvements for the University to maintain it's legacy of greatness.

She also shares, why the date of Barack Obama's 2008 Inauguration has a different significance in her life, and how the strength of her friends carried her through getting some of the hardest news a young adult could receive.
