Hey family! So happy to be welcoming a new season, in a new year with a new milestone! I had the opportunity to sit down with Akeem Hunt, the 2021-22 Drum Major at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL and the first male and the first black person to serve in the role. In the wake of our first black Vice-President of the United States and the first Black woman being nominated to the Supreme Court, it's amazing how we still find ourselves celebrating firsts in spaces that we have occupied for decades!
