Akua Gyamfi is founder of The British Blacklist which is a media platform and database which champions British Black creatives in film, TV, stage, sound and literature and as such, she has become an important figure the UK film and TV industry. Aside from this she hosts several podcasts including the popular, Your Aunties Could Never, and also has had a career as a high-end hair stylist where she got to do work for the likes of Vogue Magazine, Ms Dynamite, Hugo Boss and Naomi Campbell.
