This week I sit down with Alaa Balkhy, a Saudi artist and designer living between New York and Jeddah. In this episode, Alaa talks about the importance of mental wellbeing and the role therapy has played in her life. She shares the intricacies of growing up and navigating her sense of self between eastern and western cultures. She also recounts two love stories dear to her heart - how she fell in love in New York with a boy who is now her husband, and with a country she calls home.
