The legendary Alan McGee joins The Camden New Journal Podcast on our sixth episode of the series.

As the founder of Creation Records,  Alan has given the world Primal Scream, Oasis and The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Together with New Journal reporter Dan Carrier, they talk about his memories or managing a record label through the Brit Pop and Acid House days, what "Cool Britannia" was really about, and what is on his stereo today.

His memoir, Creation Stories: Raves, Riots and Running a Label, has been adapted for the big screen by Irvine Welsh and Nick Moran.

The film Creation Stories is available on Sky Cinema from March 20.
