Alan Tan is the CEO of HarriAnns Pte Ltd. HarriAnns has a rich history, starting in the 1950s as a pushcart business by Alan's Grandmother Madam Chia, before moving to Tiong Bahru Food Centre. HarriAnns at Tiong Bahru Centre was manned by Alan's Dad (also known as Uncle Harry to customers) and Auntie Annie.
