Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre company has been producing extraordinary productions and extraordinary talent for over 45 years. Alan Wilder has been with Steppenwolf since 1976. He is a member of the original ensemble and has appeared in over seventy productions. In part one of our two part conversation we discuss his career and how Steppenwolf went from a church basement in Highland Park Illinois, to a world renowned artistic institution in Chicago.
